Celebrating Women’s Right to Vote 100th anniversary

Cherie started her business career at the age of 16. She was a clerk in a baggage store. She quickly moved up to assistant manager at 16. This lead to numerous management and leadership positions during college. Cherie attended UMBC for 3 years and then graduated from Texas Tech University with her BA and MBA.

After graduation, Cherie started working for SBC which later bought ATT and took back the name. She spent 15 years working for ATT (Fortune 10 company) with her last title of Director of Operations for Digital Life. In her 15 year career, she saved the company more than $1B in annualized savings with her ingenious process and project efficiency ideas. She developed and launched more than 12 new products, services, or programs. In February 2015, She quit ATT due to the continued hostile work environment including unequal pay for women and discrimination towards the LGBTQ population and women that they were allowed.

Cherie knew that this same issue was happening throughout corporate America. So, she left and moved to the beach (which was always her dream) From there, she has started 3 companies, ran for City Council, started 2 local non-profits, and has become an author. The Business Case for Kindness was written with 25 years of experience and research behind it. She created the KRT Model to help guide the entire book. This book is the future of business.

Be Kind to All is a company that can transform your organization into the future. We have just lived through a pandemic that has changed everyone’s life. The pandemic showed us that working ourselves to death for the Corporations who don’t care about us has been normal for far too long. When did caring for employees and treating them well go out of fashion? That was the 80s when we adopted the Greed is a good idea that companies if given large tax breaks will create more good-paying jobs. As we know that isn’t what happened. We are in the highest wealth inequality in a century and the largest companies don’t even pay $1 in taxes.

We outsourced jobs to other countries to make more $$ for these large companies. Yet, they did not share with the employees but they made their executives richer. When given a tax break, they decided to buy back stock was more important than giving it to their employees. They have allowed the pay inequalities for Women and men who aren’t white. They lie and say they are LGBTQ-friendly yet give money to political candidates who are not. Follow what they do, not what they say and you will see that Walmart makes more money by keeping their low wages, so their employees qualify for food assistance which they, in turn, spend right back to Walmart.

These are just a few examples of where we are today. We can be better. We are better than this. For our Future there is one thing that is 100% clear….we are not going back to the way it was before Covid. So those companies who adapt and choose Kindness will be the winners. Those who continue to treat employees like crap will learn a very hard lesson.

Our only path forward is Kindness. Do you want to want to learn how you can help?

Be Kind to All is a company with the following Principles:

Every person is equal and deserves to be treated as Equal (Equity/Inclusion/Equality/Belonging)

Discrimination (in all forms such as sexism, racism and homophobia) can no longer be allowed within any business for any reason

We must be the change we want to see in this world

Donates 25% of net profits to Non-profits to help end Discrimination

These Principles are non-negotiable. Kindness is our path forward….our only path forward. Be Kind to All is here to lead companies into the future. The time is now and companies who don’t pivot will not survive. The Business Case for Kindness will always lead to happier employees who will treat customers better. Happier customers turn into repeat customers and tell others. which in turn is more sales. Treating your employee with Kindness leads to more sales. More Sales equals higher revenue and more money for the company. Who then in turn needs to stop spending it for the top executives, but start giving it to the workers who made it possible.

Those who choose to continue the path of Hate, Greed, and Fear are in a losing battle. The greed is good mentality that has screwed over American workers at every turn has been proved to be an utter disaster. We are at a turning point in our society. The path forward is Kindness, Respect, and Trust. We can be better. We don’t have to allow these adult bullies (those who scream the loudest and name-call) to control our future. Companies who choose Kindness are going to thrive. Those who choose Greed are going to face some tough times. Choose wisely.
